Isle of Wight - Shanklin

This year we return to Shanklin, which is beautifully situated on the cliffs bordering the South-East coast on the Isle of Wight. The town is split between the old village lying on the cliff top, famous for its picturesque, thatched buildings and the new village nestled close to the sea, which has great character and charm with many interesting small shops and a variety of Victorian architecture. The esplanade boasts safe bathing waters and a sandy beach with amusements plus a host of pubs and restaurants

Please Note - Mobility Aids:   If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator, please put the description in the Special Needs Section and we will check if we have availability. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.

Shanklin Hotel ***

One of the best-known hotels on the island, situated in Shanklin town with superb views. Ideally located with the Shanklin Old Village and the beach just a minute walk away! All rooms have a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities available. Entertainment is provided most evenings, as well as an indoor swimming pool and sauna. Enjoy a freshly cooked full English breakfast in the mornings and a 3-course dinner in the evenings
