Ambleside, a small town in the Lake District, has now become a majot tourist resort with shops and restaurants.It is one of the best places for exploring the Lake District and sits at the head of Lake Windermere.
Bowness has for many years been the Lake District & Cumbria's most visited tourist destination, where there is something of interest for everyone.You will find an abundance of things to see and do on and around the waters and within the town where a wide choice of shops, stores and eating places are are all only a few minutes walk from the lakeside.
PLEASE NOTE: Day Excursions are non refundable. Children under 5 are not allowed to travel on the front row seats.
Please Note : If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator with you it must be requested at the time of booking. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.
