Concorde Experience 90 min tour & 2 course Lunch

On this trip enjoy a 90 minute guided tour including pre flight briefing showing the Concorde during its years of commercial service, and time on board Concorde sitting in the luxury leather seats! You will also get to spend time on the flight deck so make sure you take a camera. You can take a stroll underneath the aircraft and at the end of the tour you will be presented with a commemorative certificate to remember your day!

 

The Runway Visitor Park is also home to a variety of retired planes, including the spectacular supersonic airliner, Concorde G-BOAC; and former military spy plane, Nimrod. Along with a DC-1-, AVRO RJX and a retro |Trident airliner, offering a glimpse of what flying was like in the 1960s and 1970s. A must for all enthusiasts.

 

Also included in this trip is a 2 Course Lunch! The Menu options are as follows:

Mains:

• Manchester IPA beer battered cod, minted smashed peas, home cut chips & tartre sauce

• Chicken & wild mushroom suet pudding, creamed mashed potatoes, fine beans & sage gravy

• Braised local root veg, pearl barley, roasted baby onions, creamned mashed potatoes & fine beans (Vegan)

 

Dessert:

• Sticky toffee pudding, salted toffee sauce & vanilla ice cream (Vegetarian)

• Double choc & hazelnut brownie, dark choc sauce & vanilla ice cream (Vegan)

Please Note : If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator with you it must be requested at the time of booking. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.
