This year we return to Shanklin which is beautifully situated on the cliffs bordering the South East coast on the Isle of Wight! The town is split between the old village lying on the cliff top famous for its picturesque thatched buildings and the new village nestled close to the sea, which is of great character and charm with many interesting small shops and a variety of Victorian architecture. The esplanade boasts safe bath waters and sandy beaches with amusements, along with a host of pubs and restaurants!

Please Note - Mobility Aids:   If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator, please put the description in the Special Needs Section and we will check if we have availability. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.

Shanklin Hotel

On this tour our hotel is based in Shanklin Town, with superb views. The Old Village is a few minutes walk and there is beach access via the nearby cliff lift.  There is a restaurant with dance floor, a bar lounge, and entertainment most evenings. There is also an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna, and a games room with pool table. Rooms are ewquipped with a bath OR shower, tea/coffee facilities, telephone, hairdryer, and TV. Free wifi in public areas. Lift serves almost all bedrooms.
