Melton Mowbray is located on the River Eye in the county of Leicestershire. It is a busy market town famous for its pork pies and Stilton cheese. There are some notable historic buildings including the Anne of Cleves House, the impressive 12th-century Church of St.Mary, with its 100ft spire rising over the town and the Melton Carnegie Museum where you can learn about the town's history, culture and heritage. As you're walking around it's almost certain you'll be following in the footsteps of royalty.
This garden and home centre at East Bridgford, has over 81,000ft2 undercover shopping to discover. The centre also boasts two beautiful restaurants - Cafe Home & Garden and The Greenhouse Kitchen, where all the food is always homemade. PLEASE NOTE : If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator with you it must be requested at the time of booking. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.
