Morecambe Steampunk Festival

Brush off your top hat, polish your brass goggles, and head over to Morecambe to discover the fantastical world of Steampunk at this internationally renowned festival, this year's theme is 'Pirates of Mermaid Bay'. Known for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere, A Splendid Day Out is a mixture of music, mayhem, merriment, Victorian market and more. Find everything from themed leathercrafts and jewellery to antiques and clothing at the Steampunk Market, perfect for starting (or expanding) your own Steampunk wardrobe.  Get the adrenaline pumping with the truly unique sports of teapot racing and tea duelling.  Gaze in wonder at the weird and wonderful displays, including an 18ft steampunk model railway.  Have your photo taken for posterity, using traditional Victorian photography equipment. 

This year's event will include an artisan market full of unique traders, live music on the outdoor stage, and astonishing sights, like live mermaids swimming in their tanks along with displays, dancing, competitions, a fashion show and classic car display.

PLEASE NOTE:      Day Excursions are non refundable. Children under 5 are not allowed to travel on the front row seats.

Please Note : If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator with you it must be requested at the time of booking. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.
