Whitby - Goth

Enjoy a trip to the charming seaside resort of Whitby which will be hosting their famous alternative Goth Weekend, from its humble beginnings in the Elsinore Pub as a pen friend meet up in 1994, the event has become one of the world's premier Goth events. Whitby Goth Weekend is a celebration of all things goth but open to everyone to enjoy and it has grown in popularity with non-goths. Adding to the spectacle are festival-goers in a range of styles, crossing over into Victorian vampires in a nod to the town’s Bram Stoker connections. This famous music and arts event brings people from afar, dressed in wonderful costomes, to celebrate the town where Bram Stoker visited in 1890 and found some of his inspiration for 'Dracula. The Bizarre Bazaar Alternative Market features over 100 stalls selling a variety of gothic items.

PLEASE NOTE: Day Excursions are non refundable. Children under 5 are not allowed to travel on the front row seats.

Please Note : If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator with you it must be requested at the time of booking. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.
