Join us as we visit York OR York Maze for the day.

York is a vibrant Festival City with Roman roots and a Viking past, offering an adventure for everyone. Founded in 71 AD, this historic City is home to around 200k people and hosts 8 million visitors every year. It is a city where ancient walls surround incredible local businesses, attractions, shops, accommodation and eateries, with exciting events every day and inspiring festivals every month of the year. There are over thirty world-class museums you can explore, the best racecourse in the country and a thriving cultural scene. From the world's largest Railway Mueum to a walk around the City Walls, the awe of York Minster which is Northern Europe's largest Gothic Cathedral, to a trip back in time at the Castle Museum, or even a scary Ghost walk in Europe's most haunted City - the choices are endless. It's compact centre is encircled by walls dating back to the Romans. The walls, redeveloped by the Vikings and largely rebuilt in medieval times, offer great views across the city. It may be a bit of a travel cliche, but in York, old and new exist in rare harmony.

Created from over one million living, growing maize plants, York Maze is not just the largest maze in the UK it's an award winning fun filled, day out in the country. With over 20 different rides, attractions and shows to enjoy the maze offers an aMAZEing fun filled family day out. Get active on the popcorn pillow, have a laugh on the new crowmania ride or take your seat for the show. Get lost in the mazes, or just take it easy in the CORNstruction zone sand and water play. You will be aMAZEd at just how much there is to do.
