From the world's largest Railway Mueum to a walk around the City Walls, the awe of York Minster which is Northern Europe's largest Gothic Cathedral, to a trip back in time at the Castle Museum, or even a scary Ghost walk in Europe's most haunted City - the choices are endless. It's compact centre is encircled by walls dating back to the Romans. The walls, redeveloped by the Vikings and largely rebuilt in medieval times, offer great views across the city. It may be a bit of a travel cliche, but in York, old and new exist in rare harmony.

Hallowtween takes place within the grounds of the legendary former Dunnington Lodge, at York Maze, one of the most haunted sites in the whole of Yorkshire. Nothing is what it seems and you will need to keep your wits about you as you experience all the shocks and thrills of the four Scare Houses;  Corny’s Cornevil,  The Singularity,  The Flesh Pot and  Necropolis! PLUS there's street theatre, LIVE stage performances, fairground rides (charged extra), meet the Halloween Owls and more to keep the whole family entertained as you take a breather  in-between the chilling scares...ENTER IF YOU DARE!

 

PLEASE NOTE: Day Excursions are non refundable. Children under 5 are not allowed to travel on the front row seats.

 

Please Note : If you wish to take a mobility scooter, wheelchair or rollator with you it must be requested at the time of booking. Any such equipment must fold flat for storage or be capable of being broken down into pieces of no more than 20kg. We cannot accept larger scooters (class 3) as these are too large and heavy to lift. We sometimes operate minibus feeders to minimise time, these vehicles CANNOT convey motorised wheelchairs/scooters.
