Join us as we spend time in either the City of York OR York Designer Outlet, the choice is yours!
View Dates & BookYork is a vibrant Festival City with Roman roots and a Viking past, offering an adventure for everyone. Founded in 71 AD, this historic City is home to around 200k people and hosts 8 million visitors every year. It is a city where ancient walls surround incredible local businesses, attractions, shops, accommodation and eateries, with exciting events every day and inspiring festivals every month of the year. There are over thirty world-class museums you can explore, and a thriving cultural scene. From the world's largest Railway Mueum to a walk around the City Walls, the awe of York Minster which is Northern Europe's largest Gothic Cathedral, to a trip back in time at the Castle Museum, or even a scary Ghost walk in Europe's most haunted City - the choices are endless. It's compact centre is encircled by walls dating back to the Romans. The walls, redeveloped by the Vikings and largely rebuilt in medieval times, offer great views across the city. It may be a bit of a travel cliche, but in York, old and new exist in rare harmony.
York Designer Outlet is home to over 100 designer and premium brands all with discounts of up to 60% off RRP. With new fashions, sportswear and homewares arriving daily, there is something here for everyone. The centre has a safety-approved children's play area and a spacious Food Quarter with refreshments to suit all tastes. The outlet is a perfect location for a family day out.
